How to Install jelly bean on Micromax A110
First you will need to download the jelly Bean firmware on your computer or phone and then Install it offline.
Download Jelly Bean Canvas 2 firmware
now copy the downloaded ZIP file to Internal SD card
after copying turn off your Device, make sure you have the backup of your contacts and important data
Press volume +, volume – and power button simultaneously and keep pressing until you see two options.
Use the up or the + volume button to enter recovery mode.
Now simply TAP on apply updated from SD card and Select CynusT2JellyBean_V15.01 file.
(For moving up and down use volume buttons and for selection, use the context button or the left square dedicated button)
The Update installation will be initiated, it will take some time to install.
After completion, Restart your Phone andd you will see the new Jelly Bean OS on your Canvas 2 and all the apps on your phone will be optimized for Jelly bean.

The first boot after installing the update may take upto 2 minutes, So don’t be panic. you will be able to install new apps which requires minimum Jelly bean.

No there is No patchs, however chances of failure is only 2%, your all new SIM (64k) will work smoothly without any issues, however I will suggest you to wait for more days till we bring the new Modified firmware for the same.
omly loop and aircel 64 kb sim cards are not working on this jelly bean update.

Hey admin, thanks for the tutorial. I have upgraded to JELLYBEAN too, and am using the same phone, A110. But one thing especially haunts me, the degraded camera quality. While 8 MP shots taken by original Micromax camera (back in ICS) are much clearer, I see a sharp fall in clarity and quality (contrary to what most are saying) after upgrading to Mobistel ROM. Previously, I also tried their Cynus T2 ROM (ICS), and while the default camera was same as that in JB,
1. I could easily replace it with stock camera apk and things were back as usual.
2. Other camera such as fxcamera and cameramx did not suffer from the lack of clarity.
I tried to install ICS camera apk on JB, but it failed to start. Also JB 4.2 camera too doesn’t work well.

Micromax will soon upload JB firmware for a116 on their ftp site. Will that be compatible with a110? If so, it will be better to upgrade a110 with Micromax ‘s original stock ROM. Plz reply.

Thats foolish… A116 is quad core and A110 is dual core…pls dont think of it as the Rom is optimised for A116 Quad core processor. U can install Jalebi Rom develoved by XDA. its very smooth and bug free. best Rom ever for A110

Hey Ali, The JB ROM fantastic but just realized after upgrading my A110 that my phones warranty is void now and my Vodafone sim is not working with this ROM, kindly advice how to install stock ROM or ICS as the FTP site is not working.
Well for those who successfully upgraded to JB ROM there are several issues and there are many fixes available for it. However if you guys wana achieve it, you have ROOT the phone since you have already void your warrant now you can screw it up more. BTW do not loose your heart, i am one of them who did this and now struggling to get the root access to solve the SIM Issue, WIFI issue, Camera issue etc…etc…
There are several threads which are available to root the phone for some the process works seamlessly however for many it dose not. I am working on mix-n-match of many available threads and seems to have cornered how to ROOT your MMX Canvas 2 running JB Cynus T2 ROM upgraded from stock ICS. Guys any update on rooting after JB update on MMX A110, Well after following the instructions to root (on droidser) the same method mentioned in other post, i am able to successfully complete all the steps till the green ring appears. However after this when i reboot the phone still shows stock recovery option. No luck cant root; please suggest i tried with Binay4 script as well these are the only 2 methods available to root MMX A110 after unofficial JB (Cynus T2) rom but none of them are successful. Pls pls help. BTW you cannot switch back to Stock ROM till you root so all the issues will be there like SIM card, camera etc…etc.. till you either root and fix or switch back to ICS Stock ….If there is a method to switch back to stock ROM without root; guys pls help

Follow the same procedure (on droidser) except step 6 & 7.After selecting the .img file through step 5 you simply flash download and connect phone to USB and switch of ,Thats all.green ring will appear in just few seconds and your phone will in root access. Just a quick update, i did exactly the same as you advised however still no luck.
Ran the tool with .img selected -> connected phone and switched off -> Yellow bar -> Green Ring “OK” -> Switch on the phone, copy the binaries -> Switch off the phone -> boot in recovery (still stock recovery) -> Select the binaries -> Install -> Install aborted.

All those who are wanting to downgrade the OS from JB to ICS simply visit the Micromax service center and ask them to install V2. I got my A100 installed with V2 from the service center, just take the copy of your phones bill. They will do it free of cost if it is in warranty. If not in warranty: then they will charge Rs.250 which is the standard fees.

1. cwm flashable zip
2. NETWORK PROBLEM FIXED
3. pre-rooted
4. boot animation changed to mmx boot animation.
if ur installation is aborted, then u should follow these important steps-
1. Root ur phone
2. if u r using stock recovery, then flash it into CWM recovery
3. install the zip file in cwm recovery
4. after installing click on ‘wipe data/factory reset’ in recovery mode.

ThanQ My Brother… That problem was resolved by me itself and that is nothing but there is no acces point created in Mobile Networks and once i created a new one it started working and what a speed yaar… Browsing speed very good and also battery giving little extra than ICS.. I have purchased A110 Canvas 15 days back and It seems that Gravity Sensor is not working. When I am playing Temple Run game phone is not tilting. Auto Rotation is also not working. But in the setting Auto Rotation is on.
Please help to advice what to do know.
assalamu alaikum ali, am using micromax a 35 bolt.i bought it 15 days ago.the problem is when i try to connect internet through data connection,two small arrows showing for indicating signal.that time the output signal is blinking but input signal is not blinking so that coult not connect to internet.each time i need to switch of and on my mobile.pls give me the solution or tell me what to do?

my micromax a110 is not working properly, even before i unlock my phone by pressing the correct pattern, it presses some keys and says pattern is wrong. not able to login into the phone.
please help
