The micromax A116 is designed similar to its older version MMX A110. The A116 variant have HD Display and able to play 1080p HD videos without any lags. Micromax canvas HD comes with 5 inch IPS HD display with some layer of scratch resistant display same as Micromax A110. it runs on 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor with 1 JB of RAM sailing on latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Micromax A116 canvas HD Review

The Micromax A116 box pack contains the handset, Standard Ear phones (same as Micromax A110) 200 mAh battery, USB to micro USB cable, Travel Charger, user guide and warranty statement. The handset was shipped by snapdeal. SAR value of the phone mentioned on the box pack is.472 W/kg with mrp of 17,499 but the phone is available just for Rs.13,990.

Display and Design

Micromax A116 looks almost similar to the canvas 2 model. There is no changes in design just the back panel Glossy instead of textured. the phone has same features on design side, you will find three touch buttons, 2 MP front camera and call in speaker in front side and there is a 8 MP AF Camera with LED flash on back side with a Micromax logo. volume rockers are present in to left side and Power (lock) button is on top right.

Its 5 inch HD display renders images more clear and brighter. the display supports resolution of 1280×720 pixels (293.72ppi). you can play hd videos of 720p and 1080p without any lags. on A116 the touch response is more smoother than the A110. You will feel premium touch on this low cost device.

The phone comes with impressive hardware at its price segment. There is a MediaTek’s MT6589 quad core coupled with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. hardware specification are powerful and there is no lags on navigating between different apps.  the A116 houses 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB Internal Memory.
